Who should attend?
All Early Childhood administrators, teachers, assistant teachers, staff, early interventionists, agency personnel, DCFS licensing representatives, CCR&R directors, CCR&R staff.
Hotels and Lodging
All conference sessions will be held at the Crowne Plaza Springfield. A block of rooms has been reserved until September 8, 2010 at the hotels listed below. Participants must make their own hotel reservations. To receive the conference rate, you must mention that you are attending the Illinois AEYC Conference.
Reservations made after September 8, 2010 cannot be guaranteed the conference rates listed below.

The conference rate is: $125 per night (single/double) plus tax (current rate 12%) Parking and shuttle service are available at no cost.

Cancellations/ Substitution Policy
If you are unable to attend the conference, you may transfer your registration to a colleague. Illinois AEYC must be notified in writing by the original registrant or authorized representative of the organization paying for the registration. Cancellation notices must be received in writing prior to September 1, 2010, to receive a full refund. Cancellations after that date are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Driving directions
The Crowne Plaza Springfield is located directly off of Interstate 55. From I-55 & I-72 take Exit 94 Stevenson Drive. Head West to Dirksen Parkway, turn right. Travel North on Dirksen Parkway, the Crowne Plaza is located on the right side of the road.

Credits
Illinois State Board of Education
Illinois AEYC is an approved provider for Certified Professional Development Units (CPDU) for teacher re-certification which will be available free of charge. Note: ISBE equates 5 CPDU credits to 1 CEU.
In-service training hours
In-service training certificates for those working in DCFS licensed programs will be available.
Gateways to Opportunity Registry
Some workshops will be approved for credit with the Gateways to Opportunity Registry through INCCRRA.
Early Intervention Credentialing
We are working to get applicable workshops approved for Early Intervention hours. Check back for more information.
Tax Deductions
When incurred for the purpose of maintaining or improving your present profession, expenses for training (registration fees, travel, lodging, and meals) may be tax deductible. Remember to save your receipts and consult with a tax advisor for more details.
