NAEYC's Scholarship Program
To assist programs with the increased
accreditation fees, NAEYC has established an Accreditation Scholarship
Program. NAEYC offers a limited number and a limited amount (in terms
of the actual award) of "Accreditation Scholarships" in support of
programs seeking NAEYC Accreditation. The Accreditation Scholarship
is available to programs seeking NAEYC Accreditation for the first time
as well as to programs seeking to maintain their NAEYC Accreditation.
Accreditation Scholarship Program awards
subsidize and support the fees associated with achieving and
maintaining NAEYC Accreditation, including:
- Step 1 - Enrollment and Self Study
- Step 2 - Application
- Step 3 - Candidacy (Step 4 has no fee)
- Annual Report fees (due on each anniversary of the accreditation award during the 5-year accreditation term)
The award of an Accreditation Scholarship will primarily be on the basis of financial need.
