Date: May 19, 2026
Time: 7:30 pm  to  8:15 pm
Hi ILAEYC Members,
You’re invited to join us for an online conversation as we celebrate NAEYC’s 100th anniversary!

What: Virtual Community Conversation— Workforce Advocacy & Professional Recognition

When: Tuesday, May 19th, at 7:30pm CT

Where: Online via Zoom

Cost: Free!

This month highlights two powerful moments for the early childhood field—Worthy Wage Day on May 1 and Teacher Appreciation Week. Together, they remind us that behind every thank you is a deeper truth: early childhood educators deserve to be truly valued, supported, and fairly compensated. As we reflect on 100 years of progress, we celebrate the passion and dedication that define this workforce—and continue building toward a future where every educator feels seen, respected, and uplifted.

Whether you’ve been in early childhood education for decades or just a few years, we’d love to hear your perspective and reflections all from the comfort of wherever you are.

WE HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US LIVE!

This is an informal gathering, no presentations, just connection and conversation with fellow early childhood professionals. We hope to see you online!

ILAEYC President

P.S. Can’t make it to this one? We’re hosting virtual conversations throughout the year as part of NAEYC’s Year of Reflections.
