SAM Project
The Statewide Accreditation Mentoring (SAM) project provides support
and assistance to child care/early education programs in center or
home-based settings engaged in quality improvement with intent to
achieve program accreditation. The program supports a variety of
accreditation initiatives including NAEYC, NECPA, NAC, NAFCC and NSACA.
Support options available through the SAM project
Programs can participate in just one or all of the available support options.
The SAM project receives funding from the Illinois
Department of Human Services in cooperation with the Illinois Network
of Child Care resource and Referral Agencies (INCCRRA) and the Grand
Victoria Foundation
