SAM Project
The Statewide Accreditation Mentoring (SAM) project provides support
and assistance to child care/early education programs in center or
home-based settings engaged in quality improvement with intent to
achieve program accreditation. The program supports a variety of
accreditation initiatives including NAEYC, NECPA, NAC, NAFCC and NSACA.
Support options available through the SAM project
- Fee Assistance (available on a first com, first serve basis)
- On Site Consultation Visits(targeted for programs further along in the process)
- Quality Improvement Cohorts (for programs just beginning or thinking about the process)

The SAM project receives funding from the Illinois
Department of Human Services in cooperation with the Illinois Network
of Child Care resource and Referral Agencies (INCCRRA)
